Napier Red Medallion

This is a premium Bordeaux blend from the five grape varieties Cabernet Sauvignon, Cabernet Franc, Merlot, Petit Verdot and Malbec, matured for two years in 300 litre French oak barrels and a further two years in the bottle. Deep red in colour, the wine has marked aromas of cedar wood and ripe plum. It is an elegantly balanced premium wine with concentrated fruit and spicy flavours. It is soft and rounded in texture with ripe tannins. Bordeaux specialist Andrew Jefford (columnist for Decanter magazine) described Red Medallion as the “Latour of the Cape”.
