The red sandstone that today forms the massif of the Palatinate Forest was formed around 245 million years ago. Soils made of weathered red sandstone are particularly barren and pose a great challenge for the vine. In combination with the warm and sunny climate of the Palatinate, they offer ideal ripening conditions for the Blanc de Noir from the red sandstone. Fruity aromas of red berries with light citrus notes are accompanied by a fine mellowness. A fantastic companion for convivial evenings with friends.
